Global Data Reports
We produce large, complex, high-profile reports for some of the world’s fastest-moving and most technically savvy companies. Every year, for every project, this means navigating a maze of stakeholders and reviewers with their own priorities and expectations. The bar is high: These published reports directly address analysts, journalists, sales prospects, and other professional audiences paying close attention. Each report must bring the data to life in visually striking, sharply written, and persuasive ways. And of course, it all needs to come together on time and on budget, while remaining true to brand goals and data reality. Delivering on all of this isn’t always easy—well, it’s NEVER easy. But here’s how we make it happen.

Project-Managing Complex Publishing Initiatives

High-profile company reports require careful end-to-end project management. We work with our client-side counterparts to map out a comprehensive, detailed schedule that captures content and design checkpoints and revisions, data validation and factchecking, legal, IR, and executive reviews, and every other step at each stage of production. We ask the right questions early: Will this report be gated or ungated? Will it be translated, or regionalized? Shared with key partners for courtesy prepub review? What else needs to roll out alongside the main report—social content, campaign collateral, videos or infographics? We work with client-side teams—comms and campaigns, data and legal, investor and analyst relations, design and content—to capture each stakeholder’s input at the appropriate time. It’s a massive team effort, and we work hard to maximize value and minimize friction.
Data Verification, Validity, and Visualization
Each report is only as strong as its source material, whether it’s proprietary company data, a third-party survey, journalistic research and external sources, or some combination of these. Turning data into charts and content always starts with making certain the data is itself correct (verification) and being interpreted correctly (validity). Sometimes Teamstream’s tasked with this part; at other times we work with data provided by client-side data teams. Either way, it’s only when the data is thoroughly validated and deeply understood that we can begin the process of turning the data into impactful charts and insightful content that can make the intended stories clear (visualization). This critical step provides a solid foundation for brand storytelling that moves minds.

“Security tools are business critical. Security reclaimed the top spot, accounting for 50% of the fastest-growing apps in 2023 and 40% in 2024. This increase is unsurprising: There were more than 5,000 data breaches in 2023 and twice that many in 2024.”

Creating Content That Tells Productive Stories

Publishing a successful report is about creating a system where content and design work in sync to credibly advance company objectives, while making sure every word and chart lands with impact and authority. We spend time discovering what your product, brand, and comms teams really want to say: the core messages, insights, and stories you want to spotlight. We dig deep into the data: How can we leverage this new information to serve those purposes? And we consider the outside world, taking into account what your analysts, journalists, and sales prospects are actually hungry for, what they’ll expect and believe coming from us, and how they’re likely to engage with the proposed material. Only then can we tell the right story in a way that’s as productive for the company as it is compelling for its intended audience.

Moving From Production to Publishing
Once the core report makes through its final reviews, it’s rigorously checked for clarity and accuracy. We hand off all approved and finalized, translation- and localization-ready files to the relevant teams (web, social, etc) in their chosen specs and formats. We also help finalize any spinoff collateral that depends on locked-down main report content—campaign banners and social carousels, videos and interactive infographics, executive summary presentations, web pages, and so on. Whether your team or ours produces them, we help ensure each published element reflects the core report faithfully, so all executions are rowing in the same direction, delivering maximum value both to the intended audience and to the client’s business.
